At Chisel and Plane Workshop, most of our handgun grips are made to order.  This makes every pair of grips unique and one of a kind.  The ordering process is simple; just follow the steps below.
  1. Decide on the type of wood you would like the new grips made from.  Pick out a wood blank from our Grip Blanks page.  See our About Our Grips page for a list of woods that we keep in stock.  Grip prices for the various woods can be found on the Price List page.  Grips can also be made from wood you supply.
  2. Use the form on the Contact Us page to tell Chris Whisler (grip maker) about yourself and the grips you would like to order.  Include information such as gun make and model, inventory number for the wood blank you have chosen or type of wood if no blank is available, options such as medallions and grip thickness and profile (gunfighter, standard or custom).  Also include if you would like a pair of fitted and finished grips or a Grip Kit.
  3. After receiving your message, Chris will contact you by email (phone, if you prefer) to further discuss your order and provide additional information such as total cost, methods of payment and (if applicable) suggestions for shipping of your grip frame or parts to us.  Do not send payment or parts until after details of the order have been finalized.

For the benefit of our customers and to ensure customer satisfaction, Chris is only making fitted custom grips for customers that are willing to provide their grip frame for final fitting.  This is due to tolerance variations in grip frames.

Payment:  100% payment is due before work will be started on the grips.  Payment can be made by PayPal, money order or check.

PayPal payments can be made to email address, sales@chiselandplaneworkshop.com.

Please make checks and money orders payable to "Chisel and Plane Workshop".
